Farzana M

A-Level Bio & Chem Tutor

**My personality

I really enjoy teaching children and interacting with young adults. I also like teaching in a supportive friendly manner to keep students enthusiastic in their learning.I strive to make my lessons engaging and really push them to the highest grade possible. As I currently working for a pharmaceutical company which is a fast paced environment, I like to unwind by socialising with friends, watching movies and cooking. I also enjoy yoga on the weekends.
I enjoy doing yoga, cooking/baking, photography.I understand many children enjoy doing Photography and videography. So I can relate about the Pictures well with my students and can help them choosing best Camera, App for editing photos&Videos. Which can help them improve their Photos&Videos look nice and tidy, and they will also learn doing new things with me like knowing different apps can help them knowing more about technology.

**My experience

I am currently a Clinical Research Associate working in clinical trials for a pharmaceutical company working in many therapeutic areas such as Haematology, Oncology, Neurology. I have a masters in Cancer therapeutics and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science. I also have done Biology and Chemistry at A-Level. I have 1 years experience as a private tutor teaching A-level Biology and Chemistry and previously worked for Kumon for 4 years teaching English, Maths, Science from 2-3 year old children up to GCSE level.

**My format of lessons, teaching style and engagement with students

I conduct my lessons on a one to one basis, however if I am to conduct a group class, I would prefer to teach on a group class from year 3 up and till GCSE. A-level requires 1:1 tution.

I bond with children by teaching in a fun manner to make learning exciting and engaging. I teach using visual PowerPoints and notes.

**My success stories

My student is till studying however in her recent mocks she went from a D in A level biology to a B, now we are pushing to get an A.
